Will Picketts is the Head Softball Coach at Los Angeles Pierce College, bringing a strong background as both a player and coach along with deep ties to the Brahmas program.

A former LA Pierce student-athlete, Picketts continued his collegiate baseball career at Cal State Bakersfield before transferring to Cal State Los Angeles, where he earned his Master’s degree in Kinesiology.

Picketts returned to Pierce as a member of the baseball coaching staff, helping develop student-athletes and guide them to four-year opportunities. His experience as both a former player and coach at Pierce gives him a strong understanding of the junior college path and what it takes to succeed. In addition to coaching, he has spent the past three years teaching within the Los Angeles Community College District.

Along with his collegiate coaching experience, Picketts also helps lead the Philippines Baseball Group, a nonprofit international organization dedicated to recognizing, developing, and promoting Filipino baseball players worldwide.

Now leading the softball program, Picketts is focused on building a competitive, disciplined culture while helping student-athletes grow academically, athletically, and preparing them for the next level.

Picketts is engaged to his high school sweetheart of 10 years, Alyssa Rodriguez.
