Two Brahmas Earn All-Conference Recognition For Men's Basketball
LA Pierce College men's basketball standout Mandell Anthony has been named First-Team All-Conference. Mandell appeared in 25 games and emerged as one of Pierce's most consistent contributors, averaging 13.0 points per game while shooting 42.7 percent from the field. He also added 3.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
The 5-foot-10 guard played more than 20 minutes per game and provided steady production throughout the season as both a scorer and playmaker. Mandell shot 29.6 percent from three-point range and converted 67 percent of his free throws, giving the Brahmas a reliable offensive presence.
His consistency and all-around performance helped anchor the Pierce backcourt and earned him recognition as one of the top players in the conference.
LA Pierce College forward Andrew Shackelford was also named All-Conference Honorable Mention following a strong 2025–26 season for the Brahmas.
The 6-foot-1 forward played over 20 minutes per game and consistently provided scoring in the paint. Shackelford appeared in 20 games, making 15 starts, and was one of Pierce's most efficient and productive players. He averaged 14.6 points per game while shooting an impressive 57.2 percent from the field. He also contributed 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
His physical play, efficiency, and consistency made him a key contributor throughout the season and helped anchor the Brahmas' frontcourt. The All-Conference Honorable Mention selection recognizes Shackelford's impact and his role as an important piece of the Pierce lineup during the 2025–26 campaign.
