Two Brahmas Recognized Among California's Best
After helping lead the Brahmas to one of the program's most successful seasons in recent memory, sophomore standouts Brayden Briscoe and Jeremy Jones have been recognized among the top players in California baseball with major postseason honors. Briscoe earned Southern California All-State First Team honors, while Jones was selected to the All-Southern California Region Team following a standout 2025-26 campaign.
Briscoe's selection to the Southern California All-State First Team comes after a dominant sophomore season in which he emerged as one of the region's premier pitchers. The right-hander finished with a 9-4 record, 3.31 ERA, and 109 strikeouts in 106 innings pitched, helping anchor a Brahma pitching staff that powered Pierce to a deep postseason run. His ability to consistently deliver in high-pressure situations made him one of the most reliable arms in Southern California throughout the year.
Jones earned All-Southern California Region honors after putting together one of the most complete seasons in the conference. Earlier in the year, he was named Conference Athlete of the Month, and he continued to produce at a high level, batting .367 with 65 hits, 45 runs scored, 37 RBI, six home runs, and 17 stolen bases across 47 games. His production, leadership, and ability to impact games in multiple ways helped make him one of the key pieces of the Brahmas' success
Their honors serve as a reflection of not only their individual talent but also the standard established by a Brahmas team that battled until the very end. As they prepare for the next chapter of their baseball careers, both leave behind a lasting impact on the Pierce College program and a season that won't soon be forgotten.
