Pierce Names Will Picketts New Softball Head Coach

LA Pierce College has named Will Picketts as the new head coach of the Brahmas softball program, bringing in a familiar face with deep ties to the college and its student-athlete development.

A former Pierce student-athlete, Picketts continued his playing career at Cal State Bakersfield and Cal State LA, where he earned his master's degree in kinesiology.

Following his playing career, Picketts returned to Pierce as part of the baseball coaching staff, where he helped mentor student-athletes and guide them toward opportunities at the four-year level.

In addition to his coaching experience, Picketts has spent the past three years teaching within the Los Angeles Community College District. He is also involved with the Philippines Baseball Group, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting Filipino baseball players on a global stage.

Now stepping into his new role, Picketts will lead the Brahmas softball program with a focus on building a competitive culture rooted in discipline, growth, and success both on and off the field.
